"With it or on it" Fine Art Print
This painting depicts a Spartan helmet with the inscription "With it or on it" in greek. Spartan mothers or wives gave a departing warrior his shield with the words: "With it or on it!" (Greek: ἢ τὰν ἢ ἐπὶ τᾶς!) implying that he should return with his shield, or (his dead body) upon it. Limited edition prints that are signed and numbered need to be framed and matted. Print Details
This limited edition run of 300 giclée prints is created, numbered, and signed in Justin's studio. 100 prints will be run at a time, with rest periods between runs. Once all 300 are sold they will not be available again. With the highest quality museum-grade 310gsm100% cotton rag paper and archival pigment-based inks.
